Ruth Miller - simplified communications specialist

Ruth is an information design and plain language specialist, focusing on information flow and simplifying communications so that they make sense to all users. She is involved in projects from start to finish, helping to define requirements and structuring and writing content from a user perspective. As well as writing for print and online media, she offers training in plain language and writing for the web.

Ruth is an experienced consultant who has worked with many clients in a career spanning almost 20 years. She was formerly the Director of Simplified Communications at the London office of Siegel & Gale, a US branding and corporate communications firm, and before this, she worked in the Document Design Unit, with a brief to demystify government forms and leaflets.
